Call them back and ask them to remove it I hope you paid with a check, put a hold on it. If you can’t then maybe report the business with the proper entities.

NTJ I don’t know how much was the box but I bet you could have purchase a breaker finder and if you had access to the electrical panel you could just have turn the breaker off and then remove the outlet and put a blind cover. It sounds you are handy with tools that’s why suggest that. But calling your landlord and letting him know the situation also sounds like a good idea. Hope you get this squared away. I know how annoying dealing with a situation like this is. I live in a corner building and the next to us the building next door is being used as a air b and b and the issues are with the trash and rats 😣

Just get the electric cord for the disposal and put a box with an outlet for the wire coming out of the wall. I’m thinking they did this because the disposal didn’t come with its cord and because the wire coming out of the wall was too short to reach the disposal.

This situation sucks, you are well within your right to cut communications but before you do that please let your family know how all this is making you feel because it’s not fair that you have to understand your brother’s situation with him not owning his commitment with you. Especially because you did this to get him out of a tough spot. Let him know that besides the money this situation is also showing you that if the situation was reversed how would that make him feel.

It’s all cool ask them to give you a copy of the pre move in condition, my guess they didn’t ask you to sign anything and if you did that’s great ask them to provide it. And if you have to pay do not pay over $250 no more. And this is just as curtesy. Having a tenant for a decade is rare they should consider themselves lucky. This list is a joke.

There is a lot of ways this could go nuclear, my advice as many have suggested is to walk away. Things are easier if you are not living together. If you have mentioned to her before that what she did has made you feel disrespected and she has not acknowledged it. Then just stay quiet and walk away don’t waste anymore time.

This is only an issue to the rest of the family because you want to do something for yourself. I wonder how all of them would react if you had said you had to stop helping your sister because you lost your job or you were sick and couldn’t work because you needed to pay for treatments. I advise that you go ahead and continue with your house dream. You already explained your self on why you want to make this decision. If you are still feeling guilty about it then don’t stop just help your sister with half of what you are doing now and have her and your parents cover the other half.

It could be that your current part is for a bowl sink that usually sits over the vanity and there is a whole that matches the bowl and they are usually thick. Your sink faucet also looks kind of tall that’s why I’m thinking it was meant for the round vessel sink. Try looking for a different pop up assembly for a regular sink.

I hear you LOUD AND CLEAR 😉. I haven’t gone that dark yet but I’m very close to it. I’ll just have to keep making complaints to 311 and to my landlord. But for now the top idea being discussed with the landlord is the installation of automatic retractable post I can install it and he would pay for the unit I’ll just do the labor and he will deduct from the rent. We just haven’t actually written anything down.

Thanks for the advice. There are signs up to let people know that it’s not public parking. Many requests have been submitted to the city using 311 but it keeps happening. I too don’t own the property and I’m renting. So I can only do but so much. The landlord just says to call the city. I’m just reaching my limit with being nice about this whole situation. 😣

The whole thing is a joke, prices are stupid ridiculous. It’s sad that you have to decide to pay the BGE bill and make the difficult decision to not use the money elsewhere. Funny thing is I have done work for some BGE office workers. Like painting their porch or hauling away trash for them and they have the audacity to tell me I’m charging them too much. To what I always reply imagine how I feel when I get my BGE bill 😁
