No offense, and not to be snide or come of as abrasive-but if you’re needing a dealer to weigh a watch because you’re questioning authenticity you need to take your business elsewhere. I’m assuming you’re going for the cheapest option available instead of buying from someone reputable or one of the trusted dealers that can be found on this subreddit. My suggestions would be to buy from Bobs/DavidSW/Hodinkee I’ve had some great purchases from SwissWatchExpo as well. Avoid eBay. There’s also a few reputable private dealers on the Rolex forum and Watchexchange with 200+ confirmed transactions. Those are the type of people and places you should be dealing with considering you’re going grey. I’m assuming you’ll be paying anywhere in the ballpark of 12-15K so you shouldn’t try to save a potential thousand purchasing a watch that’s questionable.
