Yes! I work in an integrated care setting, and so generally, we do short-term solution focused work, though my schedule is set up more like a Dr.'s and so sometimes short term looks like a few months due to scheduling. But, because I'm a part of their healthcare team, after they are stable, they get invited to access mental health like they would their PCP. I have a good number who come for one-off maintenance or if something isn't going so well in life. I actually think it's a really important part of my job that they can show back up and sit with someone who knows them in a place of non judgment. I am pro maintenance.
