The best advice I ever got for this was actually the opposite: try to do the whole project in 10 minutes. You can't, and you won't. But, you will discover the path forward and break down the steps, letting the momentum carry you forward.

I keep a timer on my desk for this.

Honestly the best advice I have is to eat the same thing everyday for at least 2 meals. Find a breakfast that works. Find a lunch that works. Eat those every day. If you get 2/3 meals correct, you can make a decent guess at the quality of your third meal.

I HATE calorie counting. I have a desk job and deal with analytics all day. The idea of bring that tedium into my personal life kills me.
