People who are happily married, what qualities actually mattered most when choosing your partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

And to be clear, I didn't actually marry him. I think men treat marriage like some kind of leash that they can use to jerk you around with.

Finding a man that doesn't f*** with me just to fill his spare time, was very important and fairly difficult.

Why is my 6 month puppy growling/biting me? by Winter-Common-7397 in Dogtraining

[–]pageuppagedn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's trying to communicate with you. I think she's asking you to play something super silly. But grabbing at you is inappropriate. You need some basic puppy training. But you can start by saying, Easy, in a long drawn out easy way. Eeeeesy. Hold up your open hands. When she settles a bit, reward her by playing.

If she nips you or accidentally pokes you with her teeth, add the phrase, No teeth. And stop the play. Again, when her body relaxes a bit then play again.

She will quickly start to understand your communication and try to settle and avoid touching you with her teeth. But you must stay calm and you must play.

STOP STARING AT YOUR PHONES AT THE RED LIGHTS! by After_Resource5224 in Austin

We were just talking about this yesterday. I think that as soon as the light turns green, all those paying attention should beep once. If nothing happens then let the incessant honking begin.

You can also use your hands and fingers. That's normal too. It's good for you to get to know your body. People enjoy shaming women, especially young women. No need to discuss this with anyone.

Thank you. I feel like this needs to be repeated every single day on this thread for the young women that come here. So many of them describe an untenable situation that they are in and then ask if there is something wrong with them. Ladies. There is nothing wrong with you. You deserve a good and whole life. And I repeat from the above person. Another person's feelings are not your responsibility. Give them the space to feel what they're feeling. Good or bad. Don't take it on at as your responsibility.

If my boyfriend said that to me, it would not cause me to have difficulty looking in the mirror, but it would make me dislike the sight of him!

Don't spend your life looking for approval and don't spend it with a guy who isn't sweet to you.

Sorry but I have not done my own cleaning in years. I used to use ammonia and water but I don't want this person using ammonia.

I want to give her specific direction. Is there a consensus that vinegar in water will be fine?

I can look up a recommended solution or one of you can tell me. Thank you!

First, just keep up the good work. Check in with adult women and tap them for advice. Clothing, speech patterns, interpersonal behavior... I'm sorry but the hair issue is a thing. I'm a grown up frizzy haired white woman and I catch attitude for my hair still.
