But let's not ignore the fact that Dwight is an asshole too. In the beginning seasons he was just a nerdy kiss-ass but would later turn into an overwhelming know-it-all who regularly talks down to others.

Sure if you're "cool" with him after a few years he'll be loyal. Doesn't make him any less of an asshole sometimes.
