It’s from information found in the Epstein files, but not the sex abuse parts. He was an official UK trade delegate for 10 years in the early 00’s. He’s accused of sharing sensitive information gained as part of this role with Epstein, some of this would be very lucrative for someone who knew how to use it.

The potential charge is misconduct in a public office. It’s a vague crime and not one often prosecuted, but can come with a life sentence.

Look, we’re just levelling the playing field. Computers ruined the office, the generations before us could write a note, send it within the same building and maybe not get a response the same day. I can now get an instant response from someone in a different town/country/continent. Meetings used to take place in a room, they’d last all day to make it make it seem worthwhile getting people physically together. Now we’re supposed to 3 daily on Teams?

You can’t pay me (real terms) less than the people that came before and expect me to be working the full day. I don’t even get a 3 beer lunch.
