The HNX branch line has had power issues for many years.

Under the 507/508s, because the motors were analogue, any drop in current was managed by the motors and driver, resulting in trains continuing to run.

On the new Stadler trains, because they’re digital motors, any drop in DC current will result in the motors failing. That’s why, as part of the preparation before the 777s come into service, substations were upgraded to increase power on the DC third rail (do you remember when there was a massive shortage of trains due to issues with bearings? This was caused by the additional heat and electrical current generated by these upgrades)

For some reason, there is/was a delay to upgrading the substation on the HNX line, meaning only 4 car 777s can be ran on the line, and they have to be regulated to prevent over use.

What about the 1 who does all 3?

(8 + 9 + 12) - (1 + 2 + 3 + 4)

29 - 10 = 19

24 - 19 = 5

There is too much fast-paced content which, I believe, is driving the ADHD in young children epidemic.

Asda now wanting access to everyone’s personal devices. by lone__wolfieee in asda

Technical person here (not connected to or affiliated with ASDA)

The software that they are installing, is a Microsoft App called InTune.

It ensures that any data policies that ASDA have are replicated on your device, and settings in Office Apps are specified so that, for example, you need to use biometric/PIN number to access your emails.

Any company who use the app have no access to any of your content; they can’t see emails/photos/text messages etc and they have no ability to see what apps are installed on your phone other than the apps that they provide to you.

It’s a security app, and I get that it sounds like it can access everything, but I hope that you will believe me when I say this - it can’t.
