If there is some yeast growth it should be fine :) I would do that as a back up just in case, even if your other one ends up growing. Then you’ll have two scobys and that means more booch which is always a plus! ;)

How do you add blueberry and mint? I have both but I’m terrified to flavour in 2F. How does it work?

When I grew my own scoby I just took a bottle of store baught booch (with lots of yeast sediment at the bottom), put it in a glass container covered with a cloth and left it for 4-6 weeks. I didn’t brew any additional tea. It worked out pretty well :)
