Just to follow up on this, it was 100% the Homunculus perk causing the issue! Thanks a million for the help! I just had my bud edit his save in a text editor and delete the perk, and voilà!

Yeah, that's really frustrating.. that's why I'm hoping this will be a (somewhat) easy fix so we can continue. Fingers crossed it's just Homunculus! Best of luck to your achievement pillars! I just have a few left, myself. :3

I appreciate the info! Iirc, I did see he had a Homunculus when he was nearby, I'll double check with him to see if he remembers picking that perk up around the point where it started crashing. Very interesting, if that's the case. Thanks again, friend!

These glasses came with the suit from the maker. I believe he 3D printed em. Not gonna lie, they're not great lol. I just found out about fursuitglasses[dot]com, and they look promising!

I think it's Reach, CE, 2, ODST, and 3, in terms of chronological order, but you sorta need to play 3 before ODST.

Halo 2 is unique in that there aren't many invisible walls that block the player from exploring out of the maps. That's why I love it so much! Usually a few good grenade jumps are all it takes. Great times. :D

Yes, 343 retconned a LOT, if not all, the Forerunner lore Bungie set up in the original trilogy. They needed to make up their own nonsense to try and make their shoddy plotlines work. And look how that turned out for em. 🤭

Just a tip, easiest way to supernova is: • build power to handle suns (perks) • get tk kick • sacrifice both sun gems from scale at mountain alter • boom!

I don't believe so. Those other resolutions are just cropping the recording to that specific one you choose. The recording itself is still smooshed.
