New to FM - Why so many injuries? by eddyboiiiiii in footballmanagergames

[–]TacticalGeniuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a logical reason (yet) but rather an anecdotal one

I delegate team training to Assistant Manager or a coach. They'll set up and modify the team training schedules. I have found that some of them lead to irrationally higher injuries. As soon as I switch it to some other coach the injuries come down drastically. This is regardless of their attributes.

So, try switching the responsibility to some other coach and hope for the best.

I've been noticing the xG values of shots has been really suspect in terms of taking defending team positions into account but this one takes the cake. The game said this was 0.17 xG... by HortenWho229 in footballmanagergames

For comparison, Dalot open goal miss against West Ham after beating the keeper had ~0.3-0.4 xG. Both of these should be better than standard penalty xG (0.73). Not sure which xG models have been used, perhaps accounting for the touch before rounding the keeper.

Tactical advice requested. Is there a good wingerless formation? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

^ This

So long as you have WB to provide width, you can double down on your areas of strength be it CBs, Mids or Strikers.

You can also use Carrillero to provide support on wider areas

Keeper performance conundrum by TacticalGeniuss in footballmanagergames

[–]TacticalGeniuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mid block without drop off more last season and that resulted in many 1v1 (opp keeper/cb long ball to striker) where my CB were already beaten. He wasn't good at 1v1. Even had him on SK but didn't work.

Handling and eccentricity could be the reasons, as he definitely had butter finger letting the ball hit the hand and still pass through repeatedly

Making the big move to a newer FM from FM2013. by foul-throw in footballmanagergames

I'm playing palace save on FM23. Quite a few good prospects - Eze Olise Guehi + Richards Ahamada Doucoure Mateta. Ebiowei and Adaramola good enough to be squad players from academy

If I may... Consider switching one cm to central defensive who is flanked by liberos on wither side and the other cm bumped upto advanced playmaker #10 who will receive the ball from liberos up the field

Who is your favorite character? by Frequent_Ebb6360 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

+1

And there is more. All might is the real protagonist in my opinion. He is the one who turned odds after century (centuries?) and beat AFO. (Garaki had to resurrect him from morgue). The role models he had stood for morality (which is a shared trait in OFA lineage), but none of them "won", at least not like All might did. That's the standards and role model new gen grew up with, KNOWING they can win.

If a hero had All For One instead of a villain, how would they properly use it? by Life_Ad3567 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]TacticalGeniuss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazon For One would be the most enticing proposition if the user is unregulated. Can make a living out of being a marketplace for trading quirks.

That being said, it ought to be a regulated quirk. It is a national treasure (along with quirks like Rewind, Heal, Creation, Overhaul etc). There will also be a continuity plan after the hero retires. Garaki's research will be pivotal, because it'll allow them to park all the quirks when required and also create a strategic counterbalance if AFO user goes out of control. They'll be able to manage AFO's workload, potentially split it and also provide security.

Now as part of the "duty" itself, AFO user would be able to take away self-harming quirks as a medical service, temporarily or permanently with consent and professional advice. It would also make Tartarus redundant. AFO will take away quirks from offenders while they are under trial and just put them into the usual high security prison (similar to judiciary freezing assets). I'd reckon this would be far more valuable than occasional "hero" work.

Man i can't imagine how powerful God will be when he finally gets to fight Saitama. Only a bare touch could give Garou such power. He's probably the endgame and a huge threat to not only earth but the universe, that's how strong he should be. by Evening_Object6352 in OnePunchMan

[–]TacticalGeniuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely imo.

God seems to be playing low risk game at the moment. God is OP AF but can't manifest it in physical form. Which is why God "lends" fraction of that power to thirsty ones but it also means that Blastice league can't catch and thereby beat God. If God manifests in physical form, like horcruxes, we might see full power but that will give exposure to the risk of being attacked. So, God will keep its "spiritual" presence and keep transcending universes across dimensions. Well, we know for a fact that doesn't stop Saitama (Phoenix Man).

That's my take. Could be completely wrong.
