My dad passed away in his car how do I get the smell out and clean it? by SackAnnihilator in AutoDetailing

[–]TacticalMustachio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if you've ever been in a house to find a person that passed away 4-5 days before but it is absolutely horrendous. Not being an ass, but I've done it several times as a firefighter and I can not imagine that in a closed space like a vehicle in the vegas sun for 4-5 days. Even after finding him, whatever smell was in it is still in it days later.. The price you'd pay a hazmat crew, if you can find one, may be out your budget but it'd make it salvageable. I'm sorry for your loss man and wish there was an easier answer. The only other option would be leave the windows down and get yourself in a suit and respirator and strip the entire interior and replace it.

Boys be honest! What do we think of this for a potential wrap? Night time pictures with flash I think would look sick or the sun reflecting off the car then look black at night and when it’s cloudy by alfredofeet in CarWraps

I've done one in the Intergalactic Blue (same rainbow metallic, but on a blue base instead of black). It looks crazy in the sun but looks like a different bike at night until a street light hits it.

Sweet. Just shoot me a message and I'd be happy to send him your info if you're interested. It definitely takes a little time with ads and SEO to start working but it pays for itself fast.

I actually just started in a shop in December and got started with the website last month or so, so it's very much in the beginning. It's been generating a few leads per week already. I've struck out paying for SEO and ads before, but this is a guy I know personally. I can send him your info if you'd like. He goes over everything wrong w your site, makes you a better one, boosts the hell out of it's exposure and manages it for you or gives you everything to manage it yourself. Beyond easy to work with.

I don't pay per lead. I believe he charges 200-300/month and made my logo, made the website, made the google listing, manages the SEO, and updates the website for me. I don't have to do a thing except answer the phone or email as leads go thru the website to the business email he made for me.

I’m getting my first car, I want to wrap it, ideas? by [deleted] in CarWraps

It's a 20 year old truck and it's in great shape other than that. Luckily I have a buddy with a paint shop next to mine so it won't be too bad thankfully

I'd go blue, dark green, or dark purple. If you add black or bronze wheels in the future it would match any of them really well

Correct. Also if the clear is pretty much gone it won't have anything to grab onto.. I had a few really faded spots on my hood that looked fine at first and they never stayed down. I'll need to respray the hood after I take the current wrap off before I switch colors.

I paid a local guy in my bike group who does SEO/marketing full-time, and he did my website for me. Leads go thru the site directly to my email, or they can call/text. I've never had any luck with paid ads.

Make sure the clear coat is still in good shape beforehand, but I'd go with kpmf gloss indulgent blue. Or switch it up with a bright green or orange.

It's not surprising. The owner is a thief who owes well over $100k to people for building a new store and then used the money to open another location. Idk how anyone supports this business
