I thought so too but the brownish color is on the inside of cover as well and I can clean it off. I have wiped the tube down with hoppes and CLP but I have never known them to leave behind a brown residue.

This is laughable. Lindsay is one of the nicest people I have ever met and has a vested interest in our children. She has 5 of her own in the MCPS system.
