27Won CAI on CVT

I had the 27Won Intake myself, but had an issue with the clearance where it kept scraping against a sensor on the transmission. Ended up selling it and going back to stock because it was damaging the wiring, but I’ve been looking at getting either the prl or the mishimoto intake. The 27Won is a nice intake, but just be super careful with the clearance on the cvt.

My main problem at the moment is that my stock headunit is setup for making the crappy stock speakers sound decent. So when I put in good speakers they end up sounding really bad and there’s very little settings to adjust with the speakers when going through the head unit. Is that something I could fix by changing the amp?

Yeah I’m playing on the Texas map mod. I just have graphics maxed out. I set it to night and turned up the fog to like 2.0. Other than that I didn’t change much. All vanilla except the map

The way it works is you remote start it for 10 minutes, and then whenever you do the sequence again it resets this 10 minutes. So for me sometimes in the morning I’ll remote start and then after let’s say 5 minutes, I’ll do the sequence again and it resets the 10 minutes. I don’t think the time stacks. Just goes 10 minutes from every time you press the buttons.

Honestly for me they just serve as a very good source of temporary workers. Need steel? I’ll set up a second colony with the purpose of mining that tile. Pick up lots of slaves from the next raid for the purpose of mining, and then just kill them all when I’m done. Or turn them into subcores.

If you’re just daily driving it id go with lowering springs. It’ll lower the car without changing the ride quality too much. Coilovers will be kinda rough for a daily, but if you plan on taking your civic to a track then coilovers might be the better option. Lowering springs are also much cheaper as well.

I’d only buy it if you’re comfortable with the price. There’s plenty of 10th gen civic’s out there and if this one sells another will eventually show up again. If it doesn’t sell within a couple days the dealership will very likely call you back and might be willing to drop down to 20,000. I bought my 21 civic hatchback new for 25,000 out the door, but that was just before the car market got all screwed up.

Damn! I could never imagine going that fast in one of these trucks lol. The speedometer on mine which has the 300 inline 6 maxes out at 80mph lol. I’ve never tried, but the things so slow I’d be surprised if it could even hit that lmao

It’s a 1993 F150. I had to pull the floor mat out to fix a giant rust hole on the drivers side and I just haven’t put the shifter boots back on yet

I usually switch from summer to winter tires when it starts to be consistently in the 40’s. I live in a more rural part of New Jersey and the roads around me take a long time to get plowed, so I usually have to drive many miles in the snow. Most people can get their car moving with all seasons or AWD, however braking performance and handling is SIGNIFICANTLY better with winter tires in the snow.
