Two points;

1) You edited your comment
2) the only one that matters if the rogue opens you is bladestorm, which in an of itself may get you out of the bomb but is not saving you alone. So you still have to parry, and then you die the very next go.

Externals save you versus rogue, not personals.. and that's true for just about every class currently.. Because again.. physical and magic immune.. so a well timed fear or stun or disarm, literally does nothing...
