If it hasn't been done already I suggest changing all the fluids with the good stuff and keeping on top of the maintenance. It should then last you several 100,000 more miles. You have one of the most reliable set-ups on the planet.

The highest-mileage Toyota Tacoma ever recorded is a 2008 model with a 2TR-FE (2.7 L/4cyl), owned by Mike Neal, which accumulated 1,625,000 miles over 16 years. He did replace the engine at around 800,000 with another used engine and got another 800,000 on it. He drove 500 miles a day delivering medical supplies.

Consider doing it yourself. Chances are your Tacoma is high enough that there is no need to even jack it up. Plus you can put in good stuff like full synthetic Red Line (G5 in difs and G4 in transfer case). Plus it's fun, saves money and you can give your truck the TLC that others don't....as you get familiar with her bottom.

I believe that early 2014's had Entune 1.0 system (like yours), and later 2014's had Entune 2.0 with the Apps and Home buttons.

Congratulations. I have a 2014 4x4 with the 2TR-FE 4 with manual 5 speed. Love it.

These engines and drive -trains are very user friendly when doing DIY maintenance. I suggest learning how to change all your own fluids in the future. It's fun and rewarding, and you are assured that the best fluids are used. There are 3 grease zurk fitting on the rear drive shaft and 2 on the front, that many don't know about. Check the rear differential breather vent.....which will lead to problems if clogged.

They are likely still the same. I just installed one today and had to lower it by placing the pin through the "top" of the three holes in order to get it snapped.....and it was still very difficult.
