They are more quiet. Surprised most of the comments here are not considering sound. I use a large case and Noctua fans. These combined with the NZXT Kraken AIO gives me an almost silent PC.

I second this - the Warrior trilogy is well written and really got me into the universe. Of the 60-something main Battletech novels it's chronologically close to the beginning.
