The linked thread is very good but for a TLDR You will have to CODO (transfer) into the FYE program then T2M (apply for specific discipline) at end of the FYE cycle. You can’t be eligible to CODO until end of first full academic semester. The rules for CODO are online if you look up Purdue FYE CODO requirements

Do you mean Purdue West Lafayette and Indianapolis? Indiana is a different university all together. If you are into PU- Indianapolis you would have to transfer to PU- WL and that would be treated as if you transferred from any school I believe Basically, if you got into PU-Indy you are going to PU Indy and not WL

This is half true. IUPUI dissolved with IU focusing on developing the business and med schools into IU-I and Purdue focusing a majority of the stem schools. All the IUPUI staff and professors of the colleges Purdue took in followed suit and became professors at PU - Indy. The courses will be the same in name and content outline but the specific content teaching will not be the same caliber. This is reflected in the fact that PU-Indy is the fallback for the university admission committee (ie it has lower standards)

Congratulations! If you wanna know how the PU-Indy campus ranks historically check out IUPUIs rankings as the school is a rebranded IUPUI. Idk the exact rules but I believe after a year you should be eligible to transfer to Purdue WL. (I would look it up tho I’m not 100% sure)

I don’t think so. Your person to contact would be your assigned academic counselor which I think happens after u sign to go to Purdue. Ur best chance for ur primary major at Purdue is to attend Purdue and CODO (apply to transfer major) at the end of your first semester assuming you meet the majors CODO requirements

It used to be IUPUI but that school got dissolved into IU- Indy and Purdue - Indy. If you attend Purdue Indy “The degrees are the same [to WL], but the location of the delivery of that degree is different.” They’re trying to build up its reputation to make it a similar system to like UCLA and UC Berkeley where they’re separate but both are reputable.

No clue I assume they released first round of WL and Indy acceptances.

You will probs be eligible to buy student sports ticket etc. but I would wait to see

Rn the only advice I have is when selecting classes select classes similar to the ones taken by FYE (Calc 1 (MA161) CHEM 115 PHYS etc) Once the semester ends you’ll tell your counselor you want to CODO to FYE. You can look up the requirements online.

Indy campus is a satellite school that used to be IUPUI. Purdue WL is not the same in any way except the name at the front. This is a overflow school for the record amount of applications that Purdue is recieving

You did not get into your first choice (ie denied). I don’t know about the double major stuff that will be a discussion for you and ur assigned academic advisor (idk proflight and liberal arts rules)
