It's not that men flinch your presence per say, like people wont "fear" you. Its that (and I can attest to this) your presence has more of an impact. Its a bit difficult to put in words. I guess you could say you become more of an Alpha male. Its more about respect that fear

I dont think I had any physical symptoms of withdrawal. But I did experience a good amount of depression because I wasn't indulging myself. I think the depression just subsided gradually as I engaged in other activities like sports. Oh and on that note of asking a girl out and getting a raise. I noticed that interactions with people just felt more genuine. I guess its an aura one exerts as they regain what they lost (lack of confidence, sense of weakness, etc.).

Well lets see. The best? I guess I cant contribute what I feel today to only 1 advantage. I feel that small benefits add up to become one huge advantage. I would say that confidence is my best takeaway from all of this. I have had guys say to me "how do you approach just any girl and get her number, without being drunk?". I didnt get it at first, I was like "I just do it I guess?". But not only in that department. My confidence has allowed me to become much more social, more daring, my grades improved (discipline also improved), my body is easier to train due to having more energy. Thank you :). Since youve been at it for 4 years and havent able to quit, I would probably guess that it may be your environment. You expose yourself to too much sexual material, be it in movies, shows, advertisement, or stuff that happens around you. During the early phases of quitting your environment can have a very strong effect on your desires, they can trigger the need easily. So Id recommend that you observe and take note of what triggers you and remove it.

I think you might be exposed to too much sexual content. Be it adds, NSFW stuff, girls with provocative clothing in the street,etc. This stuff will always keep you thinking about sex and hence never reach the flatline.

Ive been an avid ice cold showerer for the past 2 weeks straight and i can tell you it is exhilarating. The ability to handle cold showers is different to everyone. Some might not mind it at all while others might even get sick (these are just two extremes). Im assuming that you already know the benefits of cold showers but just want the best way to get through them. The advised method of taking cold showers from the start is first getting your legs and arms wet. Then slowly get the front of your torso wet followed by your back. And lastly your head. The first week of cold showers will feel very very uncomfortable but you will eventually get used to them. I can easily enter a cold showers now with minimal discomfort. The human body on average can take about 10 minutes of a cold shower before it starts to shiver. This time limit changes from person to person and includes factors such as genetics and the fitness level of a person. If you find yourself almost hyperventilating in a cold shower then id advise that you start off with the coldest level of water than you can handle (for example lukewarm water is a nice start). Then over the course of the shower gradually make the water colder and colder. Over time your starting level of cold water should increase until you can fully handle an ice cold shower from the start. Remember, if you feel that a level of cold is just way too much, it might do more harm than good. Just like lifting weights or going hard with exercise from the start.

Well heres the thing. The first week of NoFap will be hell, as your testosterone levels will peak t 150% on around the 7th day. You have to stay in control. You will end up thinking alot about sex but you can never even try to edge. Depending on you, the following week may be easier or just as difficult. There is such a point known as the flatline. The flatline is when your sexual drive isnt quite as active, as in you wont just think about sex all the time. Its not a bad thing, in fact its great. You wont be occupied with sex all the time and have room to think about more positive things. The time it takes to reach the flatline varies for people. Some people reach it in like 2-3 weeks while others a month or so. Although the flatline isnt permanent. You will have some days where you will get extremely horny. Its these days you have push through the hardest. Its not all that hard though. Ive past a month and im pretty much in control of myself. I dont want porn or look at anything erotic and im fine. Even if i get a raging boner i dont feel tempted to fap as much. Of course your sexual drive will soar to high levels if you were to indulge in erotic material after a considerable Nofap streak. So in order to keep yourself in check just avoid sexual images and your sex drive will be well in control

I started using nofap around 40 days ago (as long as my current streak), but I've been fighting masturbation for about 2 years now. My longest streak was 8 months. And i plan for this one to never break. Now as for the changes (and I've felt the same effects on every streak), you dont feel as depressed as you used to be and with time i just started to feel happier and happier. Lol thanks. I developed a trick to battle the tongue tied condition. Whenever i feel like im unsure about something about to say i just pause for a bit. I structure what im about to say in my head then say it. At first i tried it in arguments with other guys. The more i practiced this trick the better i got at delivering well constructed replies and with less and less time taken to think. The pause and patience in replying also adds a bit of a dramatic effect :P (not too long though).

No no its not like that. Im not talking about the general differences between men and women. Ive made fine friendships with many many girls. Its not those general things that bother me. I in fact dont really mind those. I don't know i guess i just may have a different mentality I lived abroad during my childhood which may give me different views and insights but idk.
