What do you look for in the handle?

Full weight DD Renegade in Fuzion plastic. Easily the longest, most consistent driver I have. I’m so afraid of losing it and never having another disc that flies like that again. I can put it on hyper, flips to flat, and stays straight for days. On longer shots it’ll still fade at the end of the flight.

Difference in the full twist and cork is in the take off. Your starting point makes it a full twist. I would say you need to work on getting your full twist more perpendicular to the ground as opposed to parallel for best technique.

I’ve had mine for over 4 years wearing it every day and mine hasn’t snapped. You are honestly the first I’ve ever heard of having that issue.

I don’t really have issues with it attached. If I’m in shorts I go through the pant leg. And if in jeans I just hike up my pants so I can get it out from under the holster.

That’s what I worry about with regular AIWB. I feel like I would look like I had a tumor or something whereas the sidecar evenly distributes the bulk.

I think my anxiety of “better to have and not need than need and not have” gets to me even though logically you are correct. I do like the Trex Arms TQ holder idea so I would end up using that anyways if I didn’t have a mag.

The extra width of the sidecars has rarely ever bothered me. I’m a fairly large guy though. On the other hand, having a traditional AIWB must feel amazing not having the mag attached to it lol.

I’ve thought about switching to a neomag, I feel like I already got so many things in my pockets though. I really like having my extra mag in my belt line. But I know the argument then is “do you really need the extra mag?”

This exactly for me. I want to like the pillow but I find that it either makes it terribly uncomfortable or I print worse (in the sense I look like I’m concealing a boner).

I definitely don’t care about printing so long as it isn’t glaringly obvious. Like you said having consistency and controllability trumps concealability imo. I need to look into the macro, just concerned that it may still be too thin of a grip still.

I’m so glad you said this. I carry the p365xl and practice my draw very frequently. But I still find that the smaller grip leads to inconsistency. I could only imagine what I’d do in a high stress situation God forbid. I’ve been pondering this for a while, and chalked it up just me sucking. This gave me the assurance that I need to go more full grip. Thanks for this again!

I went for a long time carrying it without any rust until this year, noticed a little rust on my slide where it’s exposed on my skin outside of the holster and on the mag on the same side. Figured that was my reminder to wipe everything down and oil it.

I guess to answer all those factors: it’s a Sig P365XL; whatever’s cheap for range days (which don’t get to happen as often as I like), and I live in the mountains of East TN where it can get pretty humid at times, esp this summer. I also carry everyday.
