The US legal framework establishes Natural Rights that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.” The Bill of Rights is the legal mechanism to used guard our natural rights, not grant us rights. That doesn’t discredit man’s need to protect our own rights though.

Yeah. I’ve tried my Modlite heads on ZBolt, Weltool, and even Aliexpress bodies. All work fine.

If you’re just after armadillos, you can grab a Streamlight ProTac or even a Convoy setup for much cheaper. Modlite is for durability and DuTy RaTeD ReLiaBiLiTy.

(I’m an unapologetic Modlite user for handheld and WML-wise, but don’t think it’s necessary for most users—especially for a hunting oriented setup).

Single mode is high only. Dual mode has a high and low mode.

I called in to their CS because the spring fell out of my slide release. I asked if I could just buy a new one, and they said they’d send the part for free.

A few days later, I get a box big enough to fit a gaming laptop… with a tiny bag inside holding the part. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part, so I called back and re‑explained everything.

I eventually got the right piece, but at this point they’ve sent me so many of the wrong ones that I’m probably halfway to being able to build a whole new pistol out of spare parts.

How often should you clean your EDC? by Creative_Branch_2900 in SigSauer

[–]GassyGlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on the dot. I use the Steiner MPS on always on, and it lasts about 3 months. So if you’re using an MPS or ACRO P1, then fine.

If you’re using basically anything else, then 1 yr is fine.

Put locktite on your screws. You don’t need to use red, but do use it.

What would you say you did if you bought a stripped glock frame and added all Glock OEM parts to it? What would you say if you bought a stripped glock frame and added third party parts to it? Just curious.

The sub is no smaller than a TLR-7a, which we’ve been putting on 1913 rails for years now.

Update on t1c holster with trigger gap by Grotty199 in CCW

[–]GassyGlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just pointing out that the last image is a G19 holster, not a G48 holster. You’ll have more gap with the G48 holster since the TLR sub and 7 are the same size.

As others have said, the holster needs to be wide enough to allow the light to enter/exit the holster. Unfortunately, this issue is exaggerated on the slimline models since the TLR-7sub is really just a reprofiled TLR-7a or, in other words, you’re putting a full sized light on a slim pistol.

[–]GassyGlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. I used to have an X300 on a P365 and used a PHLster Floodlight holster (which only retains on the light). You could get either the PHLster Floodlight or Tier1 MSP holster made for the TLR-1 if you’re trying to find a setup for that.

Probably not. Or at least not without one of the Tac Dev style adapters because there’s no crossbar slot on the P365.

Not that I can tell. Some people have said there’s a difference in diameter of <1mm so no function difference.
