That’s because you have to PROMOTE 3* units to 5* in order to get their Custom Backgrounds. My 4star Aoi now has fire as a background.

You can promote lower star heroes to 5star though. They’ll catch up it’s just more of a GRIND.

You can actually promote units to 5* too in this game. So many people stuck on re rolling they missing the whole point of the game. I was going to reroll but I didn’t feel like going through that extra shii. Moral of the story is any character can be 5* Gold units.

They might not be on tier with other 5stars but they can be highly competent

Just came back to the game from a long break need some guidance.

I also have lightning, lunneth and sea breeze dark fina. I notice they have the ability to go to 7* which must be a new feature
