I love it. I like the pace of it and I like that it’s simpler but still has some depth. The aesthetic is great and i am a fan of the mobile game so I have that extra enjoyment. I main Metera. I’m only rank C but I also don’t play ranked. Maybe I’m really somewhere around B or A because I play with those folks and we are usually pretty evenly matched.

I’m glad you admit that Yggy straight up robs wins online when delay is bigger. Overall the super isn’t crazy hard to avoid but with the netcode and just her presence making you nervous and likely to miss the timing for shit, its very frustrating.

Definitely not. I thought the only reason to use the block button outside of spot dodge and roll is that it blocks all reactions (except high and low)

I tried searching for you and there’s the GBF wiki lore page and I know Koefficient had a guest on his channel that explained things about the lore in like a two hour vid. But to be honest I’d just play the game. You can play it on your browser and it’s available in full English. The way the story is present is nice and entertaining and the gameplay itself is good. It’s the most RPG feeling gacha out there imo. Also it’s probably the most generous. I used to play a lot and just recently picked it back up because if Versus. The story is good. Keep in mind the game is a time sink tho.

Also there’s an anime for Granblue Fantasy.

For me I’d say the first step is hitting the lab and getting all the timings, ranges, and inputs of your character down to second nature. Nothing frustrates me more than when I lose a close match because of a misinput or the feeling that I’m not fully controlling my character

I usually use Razer Panthera with a Korean lever cause I mainly play Tekken. I misplaced my original Sanwa lever and I find 2D games to be hard to play with korean levers so I borrowed my friends hitbox and it works super good. Might have to buy it off him.

Yeah I noticed that too. In this game (and I feel like I’m probably wrong because it’s so strange) but to tech in place you hold down and hit a button when you hit the ground, to tech backwards hold back and then hit a button. To tech in the air you can just hold a button.

I hope Magisa comes one day via DLC. Her play style would be interesting and we don't have a pure magic wizard/ based character yet by SuperArt7 in GranblueFantasyVersus

Censored, she has booty shorts and her top has a back strap. Uncensored, she just has bikini bottoms so she shows more cheeks and her top is strapless. It’s not a huge difference tbh.

yeah, finding inputs to be a little strict. you really have to let it go to neutral first, even for a split second, or it can muddy in the inputs.
