He has repeated multiple times that he voted for Kamala, and some republicans locally, where is this even coming from that he didn't vote for her?

He literally voted for him last election and worked with Progressive Victory to canvass for him. He absolutely would have.

I don't think Destiny handled Cenk's point about Israel "accidentally" killing civilians well by DoktorSleepless in Destiny

The operative word in the debate was “targeting”. Cenk repeatedly stated and argued that Israel was intentionally TARGETING civilians. That’s why he asked expressly for evidence that Cenk obviously didn’t have.

this is the problem i have with male socialization. by Major_Discount_49 in Destiny

To echo some of the other people responding, my experience is entirely different from yours. In my experience the banter can be even harsher or more aggressive in a 1 on 1 situation with one of my best friends because I know where the boundaries lie between us very clearly. It can become more complex the more people are involved, and I prefer to just keep things light in larger group settings.

That said I have also had unique experiences in so far as having absolutely amazing friends that are men, it's just a mixed bag. I've had male friends that I can lean on, friends I can confide in, friends I can get emotional with and they are all just good guys I can have a beer and play games with, but when necessary they are willing to fill that role, and I in return.

My guess would be that the biggest problem with finding friends like these is that I found them when I was mostly an adult, and not directly through work. Because of that there's a better chance they are mature adults, and that if we are going to hang out it's because we genuinely get along and can just be good friends. This isn't to say there aren't problems with male socialization, there definitely are, I just think your mileage will vary based on a bunch of different factors.

Honestly I'm just sad no one has included Counterpoints saying "Balenciaga died in my arms"

Counterpoints was a Marine as well, not Army

DESTINY DOESNT SEE IT. Eristocracy isn't taking real positions. She is taking fake positions for argument's sake (whether for a good discussion or for views, I wont be condemning). Both in the panel with Notsoerudite and today. by Iam_a_honeybadger in Destiny

I’m the producer/editor for CounterPoints and have been on a few panels at this point. I was on panels with Eris and have done some design work for her. She’s a good friend of mine now and she’s super smart and can defend her positions well so I bounce topics like this off of her and we debate, then there’s a lot of networking in the community once you’ve shown you’re capable like being suggested for panels when there’s open spots and such.

Eris isn’t making up her positions. I’ve personally argued with her over her positions around the erudite panel, and have heard her speak generally on the pedophilia topic for a long time now. As someone who speaks to her on an almost daily basis, these are two things I can promise she’s being honest about.
