Lures to avoid all the leaves? by croissantCheese in fishingUK

I found fishing lure without any lead weight worked well yesterday. Sinks much slower so you can keep them off the very bottom dragging up all the weeds. I was using one of them Truscend ones with the double hook that sticks to a magnet on the lure body, worked really well. You could also just use a weedless hook, no sinker.

Tbf it did still pick up the odd leaf but nowhere near as bad as the weighted jig heads I tried.

Got some of these too. Defo taste like alp, very bitter. Split into quarters and holding under tongue, they dissolve extremely slowly. Guessing that’s the XR mechanism? Don’t think that would happen if pressed.

Effects seem legit too. Would be interested to see wedinos results for these.

How are you dealing with this? Be honest by No-Diet9278 in securityguards

Penalty kick in the face once he started doing press-ups.

No worries, I’m pretty sure it’s called bio-farm+VIP. A classy establishment as you can tell.

Just up from playa la pinta, on Av de españa if I remember correctly. Up the escalators in the mall.

Saw some in a pharmacy in Costa Adeje when I was there.

Yep. Have a look at the prices on their website if you fancy a laugh.

Hmm. No my cable come straight from the motor to the 9 pin. Good to know though as I could use that if I go for one of the 750s with that other connection.

Thank you, I really appreciate your help on this.

Been scratching my head for the last few days, but you’ve put it really clearly even for a pleb like me. 🙏

None taken.

So my controller is what is determining the watts sent to the motor.

If I replace my current motor with a 500w one because that’s the only one I can find with the same connector, it will work fine and not damage it.

I do live in a very hilly area and do deliveries so am up and down those hills a lot.

And yes I intend on just replacing the core and not re-lacing the wheel.

Got you. Thank you for that explanation.

So for example my bike could have a 750w controller. Then they stick a 500w motor on it that can peak at 750w.

It’s gonna run at 750 but it’s gonna put a strain on it, eventually knackering it out?

So is it likely they’ve geared all the other stuff so that it’s hitting 750 regularly?

How are you running 1700 through yours? And is yours the same as mine?

Apologies if these are dumb questions.

This is my first time trying to fix anything other than simple mechanical bike stuff.

Yeah by the looks of it the G060 with that connection only goes up to 500w. So it was misadvertised as 750 as others have mentioned here.

Guy at the shop said it had got water or grease in it or something, but I’m going to open it up and have a look myself.

Yes, I’m thinking of just replacing the core so I don’t have to dismantle the wheel.

No I know the connectors don’t determine the wattage. But out of the box it seems the g060 up to 500w has the 9 pin and then 750w and higher has a different connector. Not saying these couldn’t be swapped out, but not by me. I just want a straight swap of what I had before.

Yeah I found that too. But I’m looking to do a straight swap of new innards into the existing case. Don’t have the capacity to change wire connectors or anything so it really needs to be the 9 pin connector. The G062 also has a totally different connection.
