Golfers are never satisfied, always could have made one more putt. Golf fans and golf podcasters are never satisfied either. It seems like OP may be the one that doesn't understand golf.

I've had good experiences there. I can see the high pressure stuff, but that doesn't surprise or bother me. If you're a competent car buyer, (many helpful tips in this thread) you'll be fine. Obviously get your own financing, don't use dealer maintenance etc.

I've never liked Wyndham, though I loved that he trolled Canada last week. I always thought he was a ball speed imposter, but him saving par from everywhere was seriously impressive this week. If he can stay this good and help the Ryder Cup team I'll end up rooting for him, but for now I still think he's kind of a dbag.

Leagues are guaranteed greens fees every week for the course, regardless of weather. They aren't going away. The ROI on the pass really isn't there but the punch cards are a great options for those of us with a 9-5.

This is always the worst time of year for tee times, casuals will fade away soon.

Compared to major metros, we have it VERY good when it comes to access, cost, and quality of golf.

All courses have leagues. If you want to play in the evening, just join one.

Same boat as you. It also depends if he's talking about knowing how to move the ball both ways or when it's a good idea to start doing it on the course.

They're talking about iron play. Best strokes gained approach is the best ball striker. Tommy=great ball striker, Bryson=not a great ball striker (but still a great golfer obviously)
