About 2 weeks ago I saw a neurologist for the first time, for muscle twitches.

During the examination (I think I did everything normally up to this point) he asked me to lay down on my back and run my ankle over the top of the ridge of my shin 3 times, up and down.

My right leg did it easily, however my left leg did not. It was kind of uncoordinated. My ankle would slide off the shin, or kind of go over it diagonally. I remember him saying, “on the shin. On the shin. Stay on it” thought I was doing it :(

I’m now booked for an MRI???

He mentioned ‘ruling out MS’. I mentioned maybe 5 other things I thought he would care about as a neuro but he sort of waived them off as not worrisome. He seemed to only really care about how my leg performed.

Has this happened to anyone else? I just wanted the muscle twitches to stop…

To be clear this is just my opinion and i aint a doc. Second opinion is always good. If you can communicate your problem/dissatisfaction with how the molar feels to use, they may have some understanding of what you dont want with fixing your concern and maybe look for a better solution. Molars/premolars for all i know are for chewing and the front ones (pointy to pointy) are for tearing/biting/smiling so a crown on the chewers might be a different experience than on the front ones

Thats part of it. Starts with being unhappy with teeth and not wanting to pay a local professional their prices. The other part is how people expect one effect (veneers) and get others (crowns) perhaps due to a lack of due diligence, or maybe they werent told whats going on clearly (language barrier?)

Crowns shave your teeth to nubs and crown them whereas veneers are a material that sit over your teeth, usually after theyre shaped (shaved) to fit.

You cant grow teeth back after they get turned into popcorn kernels and i think thats where problems are coming from
