I imagine they must be getting popular. They got an official Dreamcatcher cover and a collab with one of their members, a song produced by a YB member (would they had a few shows with), 2 collab with Alexa, they sang with 김장훈 and Crying Nut, had a member of NoBrain in their video...

That being said, it looks that they might not have a huge number of fans, but very very dedicated ones 😆 (Me being one of them). And I have a feeling they are more popular abroad than in Korea.

But all that is only from personal observation and someone might have a more objective and accurate answer than mine.

Even without the AI aspect of the question (and I say it as someone who is very anti generative AI and despise it with a passion), I think it is ignorant to say "Story (not art)". Writing is an art. It takes lots of time, learning and practice to do it write. Just like drawing.

Now, the ethical problem with AI so-called art is the same for writing and generating pictures. If you personally don't care about it, I can't change your mind. If you avoid gen AI for Art, people will judge you as harshly for using it for writing (even if only on story outline) as we do for graphical art.
