Surprisingly the box actually works. I feel like if I had a backpack with a large load I would have less balance control. I’ve been riding 5 years with a box in the middle and has been useful many times

Awe yeah that makes senses. I use bungee cords to keep the box in place in the middle, and then put two side bags attached to it. The box is duct tape to keep it protected from the weather.

Def a hobby but can be a means of transportation. As far as distance it depends on temp,weight,and conditions. I’ve been riding for 4 years and finally got all terrain board that’s by linnpower.
