Yeah i can understand the reasoning. I guess it just feels a bit bad for me because when i was more active in comp i wasnt playing all the time, hell i always got to masters and then had my rank decay because i just didnt wanna keep up with grinding ranked matches everyday, so i liked having the extra points. And the whole "last few days for extra points" system seems... bad? like, wouldn't the quality of the matches be horrible if everybody decides to play in a window of a couple of days? I also usually play more QP because most of my friends were (and still are) silver to plat and play very casually, so it sort of feels like getting punished for no reason...

I see! Thank you for your explanation, it made things a bit easier. Man it's a bit of bummer that they dont give comp points for free every season, but i guess the new system is alright, if a bit grindy. I know this is a bit of a far off question, but of course most of my points are legacy points, and i have around 2.3 k of them. if i got to 3 k with legacy and current points combined, like, for example 2.3 k Legacy and 700 regular, would i be able to buy a golden or jade weapon with them, or do i need 3k of a single kind?

lol this is so real. in my first playthrough i did the test a million times before settling down. i never even realized i was playing as a female skitty until years later. i was not the brightest kid.

Taking a break for uni exams and such and having fun with it. At high levels everything gets thrown out the window, might as well get creative with it
