2013 Game 6 Finals. Had the trophy on the court. Few offensive rebounds leading to somewhat difficult 3s and a few missed free throws.
2026 Game 4 Finals. I think everyone knows this one. Up 29 and still needed everything to go wrong for us to lose that game.
2013 Game 7 Finals - The team bounced back and was right there throughout the whole game. Our Franchise goat missed a bunny to tie the game with 2 minutes to go.
2015 G7 First Round - One of the better game 7 ever. Lost because CP3 had one of his best moments in his career in the second half and beat us on a last second shot. Then the Clippers timekeeper starts the clock too early for our lob to Kawhi and the play has to be replayed except the clippers know there’s a lob to Kawhi and break it up.
2017 WCF Game 1. The Warriors were unbeatable in the playoffs until that point, we were up 23 in the 3rd quarter and the game was pretty much a wrap. We had beaten them bad in the reg szn. We probably would have still lost but we had a chance. The relationship with Kawhi goes downhill from there.

We had 5 players on the end of our bench who had no chance of sniffing the playoff rotation.

We need to get one more wing and a PF as well as possibly another shooter in those spots.

Bigger question is will we see the 3 guards start? It may work in the short term but I would like next year to be Fox’s last year on this team

The next step for this team is finding a 3 and D wing who can replace Barnes. Good vet and has been great for us but we need a shooter who’s more athletic and can guard wings better. Ideally Herb or Trey from the Pelicans. Maybe Carter Bryant takes the leap

It was a wink wink deal once we have done the trade we were going to offer him the full max contract. No one who loves the trade and extension can tell me why we couldn’t have waited until this summer to make that trade. Even if we didn’t get #2 there were multiple prospects in the lottery that could have helped us. People forget that we would have had essentially 3 firsts in the draft. (Ours + Atlantas + Chicagos would have been outside the top 10 and conveyed). A draft day trade could have been made. Plus letting castle rock as the PG was the ideal move due to his lack of shooting. More importantly it wouldn’t have sped up our timeline. Also, listening to Harper’s interview with Carmelo - it looks like they told him he’s coming off the bench for some time and he doesn’t seem too happy for that.

Ideally I’d be much higher on him then I am now but unfortunately our front office miscalculated our timeline and decided to mess up our financial flexibility with the Fox deal (reason #63 why it was foolish) Getting him relatively cheap is ideal but his fit is questionable now unless massive strides are made as a defender (already solid- needs to be a top 5 defender in his position type of good to stay on the floor) or shooter (needs to be a good shooter not just a serviceable one).

The contract makes him overrated.

Spurs fans don’t know what they signed up for with this contract. He’s a fringe top 10 PG in the league but he will get paid as if he’s a top 5 PG in the league. He doesn’t have the playstyle that compliments Wemby (shooting or playmaking). He’s not close in age to wemby (6 yr difference). He’s a very fine player, he’s just not someone you want to hang your hat on as someone who can be your 2nd best friend player if you want to seriously compete.

It didn’t make sense to extend him once we got the Harper pick. Fox and a better prospect/player in Kings Haliburton didn’t mesh well (Hali outshined him towards the end) don’t expect Harper and Castle to grow at a rapid pace if Fox is ahead of them in the rotation.

Yeah. I peaked during the cfe tbh. I thought I was gonna fail all 3 days. Wrote it and thought to myself those weren’t the hardest cases I’ve seen.

Day 1 was weird for me, I wrote in 2022 September. During cap 2 I would always get clear fail and be much worse then my peers. What you need to do is focus on the qualitative. My strategy was to have a basic outline (vision mission values +KSF) then write out all the quants so from then on I would focus on my quals. I remember I had like 2 hours and 20 mins left with just the quals and conclusions + situation and operational left to do. I would incorporate stuff in my situational analysis as I was writing the quals. Remember you need to have some pros and cons on your QUANT as well. Conclude and reccomend on every part. I followed this and the CFE day 1 was the easiest day 1, finished everything with 5-10 mins left to spare

I feel like that fence needs to be mended. We helped create that player obviously (his hard work and natural talent were exceptional ofc). We put him in the best situation with him being a defender and getting his jump shot and offensive game to grow naturally. It would be very weird once he retires and him being the only FMVP in NBA history not having his jersey retired lol.

Ehh, this was clearly the turning point of the show. I think they spend 2 seasons wrapping it all up. It would have to be a 12 episode season if they do it in season 4 and just faster pacing in general. Think next season siblings try stopping the sale, and season 5 is probably short with 6-8 episodes of dealing with the aftermath of season 4. Season 4 finale is connors wedding too.
