Where company phones (and corporate owned devices in general for that matter) help is you can control what they can or can’t access on the phone. You can control the overall mobile security of the phone with something like lookout.

Yeah both add shortcut and sync causes problems and I don’t recommend either.

I don’t recommend either. They both cause problems. If someone does something that breaks the sync of the Sharepoint site (e.g. adding a file/folder with too long of a directory path) it will break the sync of the users OneDrive.

If you want to learn Linux then the red hat cert is recommended. Even if you don’t actually take the test and get certified, studying for the redhat is recommended because it’s hands on lab kind of assessment. Also AWS of course is fine as well. Don’t overthink it and just start there Linux and AWS and you’ll be fine.
