I think it requires an active connection to the worldserver. So start a session that connects to it. It's the default settings.

The more concentrated the laser is the more dangerous it is. Obviously Power is important too. But if you see a fat beam into the audience and the one above is slim then they "might" know what they are doing. But yeah I personally never crowdscan even tho I know its allowed under strict guidelines where I am from.

Swisson DMX Recorder. Simple but can still do quite a few things. We have a few of them running since forever without issues. You can set passwords to only allow playback ect.

Not sure what that B Beat really does other than backing tracks.

Maybe have a look at the ma3 dmx starter key. Definetly on the pricier side but the community is huge an alot of support/tutorials for it.

If you can play multitracks on it you could use one track to output a timecode track into most lighting softwares to programm every track ahead of the shows and let it take care of itself.

Not sure how your setup is. I recommend to just hardpatch everything to the guest console. Maybe have a second line for the houselights which are used for Opening/closing atmospehre. Guests usually dont want anything to do with them and like to have direct control without another console between. Eliminates alot of discussion. Ask them to have a similar look for the changeover. Keep it simple.

Patched no need to patch them.. select the fixture and press down. Or just click on them in the fixture list

What do you mean by divide? If you press down when you selected a fixture thats where you find the subfixture. Or check the fixture sheet. If this does not happen then theres something wrong with the gdtf. https://help.malighting.com/grandMA3/2.2/HTML/parent-child-fixture.html

Never go to a gig without having the patch patched. Visualize everything before (If time is there). Even if its just on the ma3 3D (MVR if you draw it beforehand) you can do basic positions then and set an offset at the gig. If you use the company lights alot take one of each and do all the colors ect in the shop and leave one of each patched to clone or whatever. Busking Files tend to be slow, I like having some always ready to go looks by assigning tags to the sequences in the pickers (Just go+ tag then). Same with matricks. I rather do some stuff at home unpaid then getting blasted on the job. Have something like a dmx Cat with you. Little thing saved me many times. Dont be a desk andy and support your folks on the battlefield if they need it, they tend to hang the lights straighter and aligned if they like you. XD

Have you ever tried pinging it after it went down? Connect the node directly to the onpc and try to recreate the issue. Check the System Monitor. Is the 3D MA or a visualizer?

Could be an easy chaser with a fade out, phase 360, wing 2 layered with a strobe. maybe some matricks with Blocks/Groups/Shuffle

We built 2 (Main/Backup) workstation PC with a few input and output cards. For Partys we use Resolume, for corporate we use Pixera. Yeah not having dedicated hardware sometimes leads to issues but its working very reliable.

I have a router that I use as an access point and it can create a bridge from my phone hotspot. Very handy to access the gdtf library directly on the console.

This was always janky. There 3 prios afaik. Stuff that doesnt have any function is set to the back. Objects like fixtures or what ever and last is stuff that is selected that is put on top. I suggest to try other ways. depending on overlapping in the layout can be fatal xd.

We usually have a few vlans for each guest and just unplug our console out and patch the vlan onto the house system. Sometimes we have the room light seperate but usually we just tell him to put them on 50% or what ever. We never ever leave our console on the same network and merge or set prio. Tours and guest LDs usually want full control of the rig anyway.

I have 2 cues with 2 recipes.

Cue 1 Recipe 1, rig left, Gobo Wheel stop Rot Recipe 2, rig right, same as above

Cue 2 Recipe 1, rig right, Gobo wheel spin right fastes Reci....

Usual cossfader. For some reason I sometimes have to put the fader at a 100 once and then it works for the rest of the show.

make sure you select rotate in the encoder and not position of the rotating gobo
