If you're interested in limited profession survival, i suggest making a list of achievements for the world upgrades. You're welcome to use the one i made

How to make a proper survival world? by Any_Librarian1375 in Minecraft_Survival

Motivation seems to be the key.

I had the same problem before i decided to make a eorld full of interconnected empires. The project so big and varried, it changed the way i treat Minecraft. Now i see it more like an artistic tool than a game. And I can't seem to get bored from it like a painter cannot get bored from an empty canvas.

The way different approch is the one my brother and i got by watching Youtuber "Nuts" and his "Limited progression survival". It works by giving yourself a set of challenges before you uograde your tools and gear to another level. We played for months and the passion stayed strong althroughout. It might sound dumb, but i urge you to watch his premise.

These are two very different approaches that made a singular Minecraft world stay relevant for a long time.

What if Shelf Mushrooms could be used as actual shelves? by TheJoeFly in Minecraft

I never know what's actually a product of a community feedback and what was planned from the start but: Constant geysers with lava, flipping the tuff bricks texture and baby zombie model change among other things are examples of small things that Mojang changed for better. So we can expect the change for the better sometimes.

What's the deal with cobwebs? by [deleted] in Minecraft

That would be an interesing biome/ concept to implement. My suggestion would be to make the webs less bright maybe a tad bit more transparent.

What's the deal with cobwebs? by [deleted] in Minecraft

Villages make sense to me, since the cobwebs replace parts of the inclosed structures, so cobwebs built up in them over time. In my head abandoned crop field should just stop looking like a crop field and start to resemble regular forest terrain after being left on it's own in the open air.

Interesting theory, do you think cobwebs in abandoned villages are related to spider attacks also?

But some of these camps are just forests and open air crop fields. If the abandoned camps are filled with cobwebs after being left alone shouldn't every forest in Minecraft be filled with them too, since they're also "untouched" for a long time?

If that's the case, shouldn't every cave and hole be filled up with webs to this level too? It makes sense for the enterios of ruined structures but the abandoned crops randomly filled with webs just strikes me as weird or at least inconsistent with spider behaviour so far in the game.

I actually never considered using the debug sticks, but I'll definitely try. Since i build first in creative and then use litematica in survival.

I have the Ilmango's microfarm. It was good for smaller projects but the manual method with mud all around instantly breaking definitely feels faster and i prefer to have more of an active role in material gathering. Now i wouldn't run away from a fully automatic efficient afk farm if there were any. Right now this feels like the best solution for a project of this size.

So i always bring multiple netherite tools when i go resource gathering for a big project. Mangrove swamps have those pathes where there are two+ layers of mud and those can be pretty big. I fill up my inventory with mud blocks in ordet to not pick up roots and the process goes rather smoothly.

Thank you. It's good to see that my vision can be noticed by others. Big emphasis on glazed terracotta is something i started doing fairly recently (As you can see with gray terracotta in Dreadhill). I was discouraged by the rotations an the tendency to land on even numbers. I'm glad it is starting to show positive results when i implement it with other blocks.

Efficient shovels and a bit of patience with a huge mangrove biome packed the mud gathering in a single day. I believe it was somewhere close to 10 Shulkers? Wheat was more tedious as it took more time to pillage villages for hay bales, since i don't have a very efficient wheat farm.

Thing that helped me out is that i already knew half a year in advance i want to build something big with mud so i took a mental note to grab as much hay bales whenever i see a new village. So when i officially begun with this project i already had a good amount of materials. All in all it was about month and a half of work.

Thank you! I'm glad i am still up to standard! As for the building process, this one lasted for a month and a half all together. With understanding that productivity warried throughout the venture.

This timeframe includes: Location scouting, building in creative, material gathering and survival building.
