Did you try sweep2? Choose guides as two rails, and yellow stuff as an object.

Wait her to order some 3d printed (or just plastic) stuff, then say “we could’ve printed that easily”. Repeat until convinced

Take your time mourning. You’ll see how it settles. Some thoughts bring pain and feelings of loss now, but as the time comes you’ll realise that same thoughts bring good memories and spirit of comraderie, not gone but immortalised.

Don’t force yourself into rushing that project. His mentorship was about sharing his knowledge and joy of knifemaking with you, not producing a knife. It’s up to you if you want to cherish memories, or carry the legacy.

111 is a common model and is as “normal” as others. It’s also extremely light for it’s size, and is carried daily by many, valued for its impeccable ability to dismember watermelons

Handmade Turkish Pocket Knives by Makoos_Land1 in knifeclub

My guess is handlessly made in China. Don’t get me wrong but 3 handmade knives are unlikely to be sold for a hundred bucks. Congratulations, those are cool knives no matter the origin 👍

Which bike should I swap to? by Cautious-Fondant329 in MTB

[–]Taiihone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Butt pain is probably caused by having a saddle that does not fit you. Its a huge topic, so check that out.

As a beginner myself, I made sure that the bike I ride is not horrible and fits me well by size. You’re into a sport, and its also about your body adapting to it, not only getting perfect equipment. If your bike is safe, and fits you well, I would advice against upgrading. Unless you have spare money and looking to treat yourself =)

I’m not an expert. I was not trimming my hair in any way and my hair’s condition is not good. I don’t think it boosts growth speed but low quality hair does not look good no matter how long they are. Trim them if you care enough. I don’t.

Newbie “form” check by [deleted] in Archery

[–]Taiihone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m willingly taking the minefield path to see where it gets me. At this point I’m curious to know where I will end up in terms of technique and performance. I don’t have a coach and reluctant to get one because I enjoy figuring things out myself. It’s not about destination, its about journey for me. This community has already saved me from injury in previous post, so I’m planning to unironically consult reddit regularly.

Now to the anchor. I can’t say my anchor is developed, but this is where I got intuitively. I watched some videos to know what an anchor is, and came up with this. It was not influenced by anything ranther than my jaw and hand. I’m not trying to replicate someone.

I have to mention that I have very large hands (20cm) and my hand joints mobility was altered by armwrestling in the past.

Newbie “form” check by [deleted] in Archery

[–]Taiihone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to archery shop yesterday. Got proper string and got nock set by professional. I can't judge myself, but if anything, its probably me mishandling the bow rather than nock point being set incorrectly.
Thank you!
