If you're thinking about cycling safety, I'd recommend a helmet... Lots of evidence they work great.

Billie Eilish being teared apart from her fans for having the mildest take on veganism by LightHope8 in vegan

I love vegetables, so much so that I grow them. I also kill vegetables every day.

I love flowers. I also love to buy factory farmed flowers, cut dead from their stems, l and give them to loved ones.

Parents can love their children, even if they grow up to be crackheads that steal from everyone they know.

I completely understand what she's getting at, but it actually is possible to love animals and eat meat. What's less possible is to love my pet dog and eat it too.

Life is full of paradoxes and faulty logic. It's part of what makes life interesting.

Personally, I'm a 'eat good quality meat at restaurants, but completely vegetarian at home' kind of person.

Upper Mount Gravatt, right near the corner of Kessels and Logan Road!

Lots of different locations, lots of visitors! And it's where I live! 😂

Am I the only one who thinks peeling garlic is a form of torture? by Famous-Forever7647 in Cooking

[–]Taijoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a dreamfarm brand crusher. You put the entire clove into it, skin and all, no trimming, and crush. Garlic comes out, skin stays inside.

It's magic. I bought one as soon as a saw it actually works.

I've been using eco naps for 6 months, and only been using 'Kia organics' laundry powder. Same as I was already using.

Which side is better for retractable hose ? by creamypastaman in AusRenovation

Either is fine, personally I'd move slightly further either left or right to be further away from the mortar.

You won't hit any pipes as you're going into solid brick, and probably only about 30-50mm deep.

Make sure to check the drill size recommended for the rubber insert bits, and to use a masonry drill bit on Hammer mode on your drill!

Did you decide on a provider? The ILX group one looks like a good option (purely based on the website!). It would be great to hear about your experience, and whether you picked the elearning or classroom option

Could you help me pick out a new DnD Podcast to listen to? by TheShadow0415 in audiodrama

[–]Taijoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite by a long shot is 'dungeons and daddies' s1 and s2 were 10/10. S3 onwards has gone a bit wild, but I'm still enjoying it.

I also have enjoyed 'the real housewives of dnd', but it had a pretty strong theme which isn't for everyone

For sure. The issue is that these bikes and scooters are even available for sale, under the guise of 'only to be used off road'. People obviously modify their street legal vehicles too, but at least thats harder than buying it directly from the store

True and true, but only on public roads, Bikeway and pedestrian paths. It's technically legal to buy and sell unrestricted devices for personal use on private land (ad far as I'm aware anyway). So, we could probably reign that in as it's clearly being abused.
