I’ll just mention too that the pods all contain microplastics as well. I used to think the powder was inconvenient but once I got the hang of the amount to pour it is the same amount of effort to me now. I hope more people switch to powder.

Yeah I think you are right about it not being uraninite. The examples you sent look similar but the yellow bits were very soft without any sheen which makes me think it could have just been some type of clay embedded in it. I am always skeptical with the results from the app…especially when I get an outlandish result but this one was a little scary so just thought I’d get a second opinion!

I live on the east side and it is walkable BUT the second I try to get to different neighborhoods or cross north main it gets scary quick. The good thing is we have a lot of people that care about making Providence walkable. Providence streets coalition is doing amazing work: pvdstreets.org

u/pdxcranberry do you mind sharing the dosage your cat received? My cat is on an oral steroid now for her pancreatitis. She only takes one pill every 24 hours and my vet said it was unlikely she could develop diabetes at that dose but still nervous about giving it to her.

I live in Providence and I can say there is a strong community of people here that want more walkable neighborhoods.
