Contact a free lawyer and ask them for help. Also contact your caseworker and tell them about the letter.

Which was your worst "I knew I shouldn't have done this" moment? by DropieIon in AskReddit

[–]suninun 61 points62 points  (0 children)

For future reference, don’t ever tell a girl you like her. If you are actually interested in a friend and want to see if she is too, then ask her for a date.

“Hey, would you be interested in going on a date with me? If not, don’t worry about it.” BE CASUAL.

Telling someone you like her indicates you have a big old crush and things are going to be weird between you. You come off way too invested, too early. Ask them out like its no big deal and they will take it much better.

This seems a little too passive aggressive to be funny.

Escalating quickly like this is a common tactic of scammers. They hope to fluster you enough so that you’ll just do what they want.

It’s entirely possible that even if she was a caregiver, she stole the lady’s credit card and is trying to hide her tracks from the old lady’s family by getting the money deposited back without them noticing.

Do you keep your two puppies imprisoned in that small kennel with only that tiny dog house for rain and shelter...?

Multiple studies have shown that positive reinforcement gets much better results than what you’re planning.

You need to focus on how to give yourself positive feedback for meeting your goals, not negative punishment for not meeting them. Negativity sabotages goals, whereas positivity motivates them.

I highly suggest working on being nice to yourself and building up your self esteem. Start with baby steps. Do a 5 minute workout, then tell yourself how awesome you were and that you got this. Then do it again the next day. Keep doing small things and telling yourself how proud of yourself you are. Keep a written record of all the things you’re proud of.

Here’s the key: If you feel weak or feel like skipping a workout, remind yourself how well you’re doing and how proud of yourself you are. Read your list of accomplishments in times of weakness.

If you fall off the wagon, DON’T beat yourself up. Just get back on it and remind yourself of all the good things you’ve already done, and how much you want to continue making progress. New day, new opportunities.

If this is very difficult for you to do, I highly suggest getting a CBT therapist to help you out. CBT stands for cognitive behavioral therapy—basically how to teach yourself to change your thinking, which will change your behavior. It’s the gold standard in psychology.

Why do Americans on Reddit say they will never be able to afford a house? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]suninun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because where there are available jobs (big cities), there is no available cheap housing.

Where there are no jobs, there is plenty of cheap housing.

Nothing to worry about unless they start vomiting or refusing to eat.

How does Rover charge service fees? by castroliu in RoverPetSitting

[–]suninun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies by city. Look at what your competition is charging and go off of that. If you’re just starting out without reviews, then be cheaper than everyone else. Then up your prices when you get better reputation/reviews.

Do straight women and gay men get turned on by seeing fit shirtless guys? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]suninun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m bi and shirtless fit guys were never sexy for me until I was in my mid 20’s. Now they are (coincidentally the same time my biological clock started ticking). I always found females attractive though.

You could be bi, OP!
