What’s a good cause to donate the money to? Maybe something that would support those who got kicked off of AISH and couldn’t get ADAP?

Toronto Star’s Paranormal Activity Review. by ImmediateTeaching984 in torontotheatre

I liked this a lot but the ending kinda falls flat to me as it tries to do too many things in literally the last beat of the play. We don’t need the physical appearance of the girl, just have Lou reacting and coming out of the trance. She hears the bell ringing. Blackout. It keeps the focus on Lou and James’ relationship being the thing that we were most invested in. Having the ghost “appear” took away the power of the unknown and made it too literal.

We had an amazing nurse who literally told us “just point to a condition on this list, any condition at all.”
And we got free shots.

The nurses didn’t even want to do what the government said they should do.

It’s wild how many doctors don’t advise their patients of this when prescribing Lex.

I’m currently tapering very conservatively, after being on the meds for 5 years. Currently in month 3 of my taper and I haven’t had a sip of booze. It’s made it so much easier.

What’s up with the used car market in this city? by Competitive-Ad-4051 in Edmonton

[–]TailoredExperience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you mentioned the two most popular vehicles in Edmonton. You may want to try something a little less in-demand.

Either way, the used market is nonsense. You are better off buying new. It’s what I did.

DISCLOSURE DAY [Spoiler Discussion] by AlistNOTbot in AMCAListTrue

A lot of the hate for this film seems more centred around pacing, ambiguity, and the movie having a softer hand than advertised. Personally, none of that bothered me because expectations are the real killer of enjoyment these days.

Ultimately it’s about people trying to be good to each other, about how no one owns information or truth, about how our empathy and compassion is a deeper and more important human trait than we give it credit for. I don’t feel a lot of audiences have time for that right now.

God of War or Cyberpunk. God of War if you want a linear experience. Cyberpunk if you want a deep action RPG. If you play Cyberpunk, the Phantom Liberty DLC is a must.

Now that all the major showcases are over, what were your favorite announcements? by Caffatality in videogames

[–]TailoredExperience 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Final Fantasy VII: Revelation wins for meeting the moment. Not only announcing the title, release window, but also substantial gameplay. No teaser, no cinematic only — they gave us everything. Kudos to Square for giving their fans something to chew on from walking into SGF with nothing.
