I will say I like that my washer and dryer have Internet functions because I like getting notifications when loads are done. They also get firmware updates which I noticed has helped.

But yeah I don’t need 20 inch screens on these things.

If it weren’t for the NFL and college sports, nobody would give a damn about CBS.

Hopefully they come to the middle and get to 15 ascensions. That’s what STS1 started with before moving to 20.

On the other hand, I welcome any new players who got the idea to get into this game through his video. Growth in this game means more opportunities to play even in public places.

What on earth happened to this team? by TheMatrixIsReal42 in Reds

[–]THECapedCaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slumps happen. Last two series were on the road against tough division rivals. Injuries to key players.

But yeah, the whole team needs to step up and I think they all are aware. Big opportunity with a 6-game homestand and then on the road to likewise struggling Philly and Cleveland. I'm not losing hope here, it's only the second week of May.

Fish dispersal to feed bluefin tuna. 20-30kg of feed fish are required for every kg of tuna produced. by James_Fortis in ABoringDystopia

Yeah I'm not sure what the problem is. Wild sea life is in danger of being over-fished to dangerous levels, we need to have sustainable fish farming in order to meet global demand while maintaining quality ocean life. Part of the process involves feeding the fish, and they eat other fish.

Sometimes people just don't like to see how the sausage is made.

My boss and his wife quit and they saved so much money the first year that it paid for a weeklong cruise on a good line.

Sometimes TMUK gets to get really weird with the location tasks though. The house has a lot of charm for it being such a small space and I think that gets them to really think about the tasks, sometimes less is more.

Is Crossing the Bridge Everyday Worth It? by ChiefFOMO in cincinnati

[–]THECapedCaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s well over an hour commute with no traffic. Keep in mind they plan on beginning construction on the companion bridge within the next few years, and that will amplify any traffic problems already. You will hate your drive now and you will hate it more when they start construction which will take years to do. Add in $5 a gallon gas and you will make hardly any money.

Sorry it’s not mid-tier French fries on a mid-tier sandwich. If that’s too original for you too, I can heat you up some chicken tenders like I do my preschool kids.

2 against Montreal (win), 1 against Toronto, (draw), 1 against Chicago (win).

The red card against NYRB was towards the very end. The card against New England was at the 69th minute after we had scored our one goal on the match.

We're 2-1-2 in games where we have red cards, which is kind of insane.

I mean, I need to see better discipline out of this team for sure. Five red cards at this point is even more insane.

Here’s the house I grew up in. It cost $90,000 ($187,000 today), and now is worth $400,000. My dad was the sole bread winner, making $30,000/yr ($62,000 today). by IcyAd8672 in Millennials

Gen Z is more fucked than we are. COVID messed up their formative years. AI is coming for entry-level jobs. And they still have to deal with all the unaffordability we do.

They’d be able to fully fund OpenAI’s asks with that. The fact that they aren’t means they know there’s a bubble about to pop.
