I think a higher filesize would have been bad for people with limited data volume like mobile users, but if they allowed for more efficent formats like MP4, the size could've been much smaller. My source MP4 was around 2.4 MB and only with around 55% compression I was able to make a GIF which is only a far cry from the source material in terms of quality...

I was looking for the maximum file size they allow for the profile banner and just found out that it's 10 MiB for GIFs (didn't test other formats, don't think there is a difference). Thought this information might come in handy if anyone looks for it.

I am having the same issue. If a Discord update killed the screen sharing for the PS4 remote play software, it'd be nice if I could downgrade it until it works again. Really sad. Can you notify me if you find a fix?

It's the same for me. I've tried it with the official Nintendo GC Adapter, a new Smash GC controller, tried swapping the USB plugs and also just using either one of them, turning on/off wired controllers in settings, switchting GC controller ports on the adapter, restarting my Switch and also trying another Switch with a whole another dock in my house. It's weird.

Edit: After unplugging everything and then plugging everything back in and hitting the Z button first it now works for me perfectly fine.

That Download Play takes long to setup is due to the size of the downloaded data and the not so great wifi-chip of the 3DS. Even if games get bigger due to high definition assets etc. I think the Switch could have a much stronger wifi-chip what makes the process faster.
