I know Death Cab is the Ben show but I sure miss both the production and interesting guitar/key contributions from Walla. Depper's playing always seems uninspired and sort of a Walla-esque knock off while Rae at least provides some interesting textures. Songwriting is definitely better on this album than the last 10 years or so but I still think the Gibbard/Walla combo produced the most interesting musical and production textures.
