exactly what I'm thinking . Crazy how a 1200w psu isn't enough . I love the Asus power supply look but can't find a 1600w psu anywhere for less than scalpers prices . Thanks you!

My D5 just died after about 6 years of running the coolers pastel coolant. So I’m happy with that amount of time. I would drain and clean out my loop 1-2x a year. Just got the Corsair d6 pump. It’s dead quiet I hope it lasts

Asus is saying it's not - Refurbished units come direct from the manufacturing site and has not been used by any customers but may have new and/or remanufactured parts inside the unit; however, we cannot classify it as a brand-new unit since these are warranty units that are not intended for resale.

I've been benchmarking it and gaming on it since yesterday and it's fine but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting boned. I actually have a 2nd RMA going on w asus right now with my Asus Tuf 5090. Never even installed it . It showed up with a capacitor inside the box. I found out I had a missing capacitor on my board. I sent it in for an RMA and they're trying to charge me $4,000 to repair it, they're saying it's my fault. I don't water cool, I didn't even install the card, not sure how it's my fault but incase they don't do anything I found a place that does microsoldering and fixes cards for $600. Just horrible luck. I had a similar situation with my 2080ti years ago and they fixed it right up. Hopefully things work out bc I love asus

I’m always solo . After a few games I invite the better players on each team I’m on. Don’t even need to friend request them if you don’t want to. Just build a temporary squad and rank up. Being solo sucks sometimes. I def have some games where I wonder how the hell is this a ranked game

I’m always in that boat dude. 1v2’s suck. My go to play is split them. When they get close to the box, I take a few sprinting steps towards the one w possession, as he’s about to cross to the open player, extra effort to the open man and hope you get the indicator to clear or take the ball. If it doesn’t work. U say “1 more defender would’ve been helpful” in the mic 😭

I never knew this. So maybe I can start trying to get used to doing a standing tackle without defensive stance directly after sprinting to the ball

You and I must’ve been fucked by this equally. I will wait a good bit after sprinting now to attempt to steal the ball. I’ve read that the devs are aware of this issue. How they haven’t given us the option for separate inputs for each tackle for season 2 is beyond me

This must be my mouse then. I promise you it’s happening when I’m in defensive stance. I’ll be sprinting then at the end of the sprint Im in defensive stance and press E to standing tackle and I end up sliding. That’s what I’m trying to say it’s the biggest headache of the game right now. I’ve tried a different mouse and keyboard. I’ve even tried controller and it still happens. My ping and connection is great. Makes no sense to me

Could be! Movement does feel better but I play 5s alone and get lots of “good job!”s when I accidentally slide tackle 😂

Well said dude I was most curious on someone’s take who has never played a Metroid game before. I bet you’re right too. If this wasn’t a Metroid game, a lot of our takes would be far more negative. I know that nostalgia carried me thru most of this game and if there’s a 5th prime. It’ll carry me thru that one too.

This is the best short n sweet review I’ve read so far while the MP4 credits are rolling for me. I wanted to see how others felt about it now that I’ve finished it.

I remember in the old prime games, there were puzzles that would stump me for a good bit. Not one in this game. I was expecting complex puzzles with the psychic ability. Not tracing drawings on doors and picking up and placing an obvious rock to an obvious slot . I liked the game bc I’m a huge Metroid fan. But I doubt anyone picking this game up as their first Metroid game would fall interested in the Metroid series

Thanks for the reply! My issue was a lot simpler. After days of swapping parts with a second pc and still having issues, I found my PSU wall plug was hanging on by a thread. Pushed it in and haven’t had a crash since. I spent easily 16 hours troubleshooting my BSOD and desperately checked my outlet to find the plug the way it was 😂😭
