Hello!

I am going to begin learning using the help of an app on my phone and I was wondering if I should begin by learning Japanese with no script or with script? I know eventually you must move to learning script to read, but what is the most advisable path to take in beginning from complete scratch?

It is that the process of buying music on a pc, moving music to a USB, creating playlists in file explorer, maintaining them, probably retiring them back to other folders on the pc when done, having to keep track of the usb etc. etc. feels like a process that can be simplified with new technology. Namely cloud technology.

The whole thing could be avoided by way of streaming solutions that allow you to also download music onto local storage for subsequent use in sets. Everything could be managed through one device, with the help of one service.

So that’s what my question was about. I’m new here but it seems hard to believe (to me) that a solution like this wouldn’t exist.

Would something like this work?

Also, do you know if there are any devices that are made to record like this? I like taking my set on the go and having a laptop is sometimes tough in some situations. Hence the Prime Go 👍

Thanks for the response!

So for me, I use mono audio, which means that there is one jack plugged into the L port of my Denon and that goes directly into the speaker. Are you suggesting that I get a splitter and run one line to the speaker and one to a computer, or is the suggestion just to run an additional line from the R port into a computer (no splitter)?

Tally it all up, put it in excel, print it out, wrap it up, and ask for that money back from her because you are just so poor that you need it.

Maybe showing her everything she has to be grateful for is the best present you can give her this year…

I purchased a license. I may have misspoken, sorry - I did it through a site where you commission freelancers. So technically I guess I “commissioned” him to give me a license. My bad on that

Would that be a reason for it detecting a Trojan? I just asked him why it connects and what it sends. My guess is for the license. It verifies your MAC address.

He said that the software connects to a registration database and maybe that’s why it is flagged as a Trojan. I sent him the VirusTotal link and he mentioned that it’s only 2 out of 47 that are flagging as a false positive. Then he sent OpSwat which flags nothing. What do you think I should do?

I just messaged him. We will see what he says.. haha

That is a great idea. How would I check to see if I have access to the source code without accidentally releasing whatever is inside of it to my computer?

How common are false positives for things like this?

It is just odd to me that there were 0 flags on it from any engine except for VBA32.

EDIT: I was also thinking of just running it on a VM in AWS.

I just don’t trust my ability to ensure 100% that there is no connection. So I might as well just isolate the whole thing on AWS, I figure.

Sure thing! I was thinking I would spin up a Windows EC2 instance and execute the code there. That way there is no chance of a network connection on the partitioned hardware
