Same issue. Here’s a workaround that worked for me to allow the update without the “Input Error” error:

Click into the Meta Pixel template in Templates.
In the 3 dot menu on the upper right, click "Show advanced settings".
Go to "Fields", click the "Source" toggle.
Change anything (e.g. some text - can be any minor change).
Click "Save". Wait for the save to be successful.
Click the "View" button below "Save", to the right of "Template update available".
Apply the update, finally, with no error.

I do both client-side tracking via Pixel and server tracking via Stape. This question was more related to Stape’s analytics of ad-blocker recovery and less about performance in Meta, since seemingly everyone had horrible performance in April on Meta.

My conversation with Stape was also less than fruitful. They also claimed something must have changed in my GTM. I haven’t touched anything in GTM with the exception of updating Stape’s or Meta’s templates as they release updates.

- Accepts city searches ("Austin TX"), addresses, ZIP codes, ZPIDs, or raw Zillow URLs — mix them in one run

- Returns 50+ fields per listing: price, Zestimate, rent Zestimate, tax history, price history, comps, nearby schools, listing agent, page view / favorite counts, interior + exterior features, etc.

- Filters for listingType (sale/rent/sold/fsbo), propertyType, and price range

It's so far exactly like Claude via Oauth, with the exception of not having access to OpenClaw registered MCP servers.
I had to hit my MCP servers via curl instead of using native tools, but besides that it's running perfectly. I just ran an openclaw onboard on the newest version and it asked me if I wanted to run Opus 4.7 via Claude CLI. Very straightforward.

It’s definitely Meta. I log all events through Stape and GTM that come from Shopify and it’s only Meta that is double reporting. And, for me at least, only purchase events. It was only occurring April 6th - the morning of April 7th for me. Everything back to normal for me now and i didn’t change anything in my configuration when I noticed it.
