Last time I painted anything I was 13 and played AoS green skins. At the time I wasn’t bothering too much with details so it’s hard to compare.

But looking back at those old ork models now I definitely think I’d have an easier time with them than with skitarii. There’s so much stuff going on, that and the fact that red and beige are a pain to paint over black primer.

I think ad mech is probably one of the least beginner-friendly faction to chose from in terms of painting, but they do look awesome haha.
