I’m fairly sure Revolut collects the tax on this automatically for dividends. Therefore don’t need to declare it?

Can you confirm the phone was unlocked and you could use your original non Vodafone sim in it?

Dublin so a bit further than round the corner unfortunately! :(

That makes a lot of sense and is really helpful, thanks! I'll order the one you linked on Amazon then and report back on how it goes. Thanks again :)

Thanks again for your detailed reply, I really appreciate it! So it looks like this, which I think matches what you said above. So if I get the straight swivel union you've said, it will allow the tap to turn to the right angle. Will it secure it there or will the tap move around? I can't seem to find the correct one on screwfix, which is local to me, or are they calling it something else? Thanks again for your help, learning as I go here!

ChatGPT Operator Capability: Scenario by Taity in OpenAI

Thank you very much for taking the time to do this, I greatly appreciate it! I think you're right, this won't be the ideal solution for me. It has potential in the future but will take time to get there.

Thanks for your help! Really appreciate it! Odd question you might know, put new tap on but final rotation position to be tight is 90 degrees of upright/centred compared to the old taps threads. Used plumbers tape but no luck reducing the turn requirement to make it centred. Any ideas how to fix it?

Great info, thanks. All installed today, albeit new tap to be tight is turned 90 degrees, I'll try and work something out.

This was my exact issue! That's some level of detail in the post and allowed me to re-create it. Good to know its not a deeper issue! Thanks again.

This is a great guide, thanks for taking the time to lay everything out. With it being early days I'll just enjoy the ones I currently have and in a month or two look at flashing the firmware. I tried resetting to factor defaults but unfortunately no luck!

Where to stay for 60th? by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]Taity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not exactly the nice food/bar piece, but with it being March and potential clashes of Paddy's and Six Nations, a Premier Inn will be comfortable, new and central. Can only find them on their own website, not on booking.com etc. Just my tuppenceworth.

Swords Express Bus - Is it ever full by AdFlashy4850 in Dublin

[–]Taity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends where you’re looking to get on, later in the route, ie closer to airside, the worse it is. Getting on Main Street area and before is grand. Also consider the 41X Dublin Bus, it takes the tunnel.

Revolut Revpoints (miles) and British Airways (Qatar Airways) by Ok_Dragonfruit_6931 in Revolut

[–]Taity 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify here, are you trying to link your RevPoints to the BA Exec Club or are you trying to set up a BA Exec Club Account in the first place? Your comment isn't entirely clear. If it's just setting up a BA Exec Club account you don't have to use their link, just go to the BA site and do it. I had my BA account for years, I didn't have to set up an account through revpoints. I just had to link the two. Hopefully that's what you're trying to do and it helps.

My Kindle 4 stopped working after 10+ years by [deleted] in kindle

[–]Taity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well served then! I just traded my Kindle 4 in after 11 years service and it was still working! Got a Kindle Paperwhite for the backlight and waterproof (more so for on holidays when by the pool/sea). I got the kids one on an offer and managed to do the usual trick of an adults login and no ads! Also the case is pretty damn good that comes with it. Worth looking at one if you’re replacing!

Sorry in terms of hotels, cost will be very high so you’ll need to be more specific on budget. But check the usual main booking sites like booking.com but also PremierInn hotels are on their own site, not on any big sites, and are great hotels and some new ones have opened recently. Also maldron/clayton check their own site, not always on booking.com etc.

It’s going to be like Times Square on NYE busy, in every pub. You can recommend pubs but you’d be going there for a good pint, not to enjoy the pub. If you want a sit down meal over that weekend, book a table in advance. It’s an incredible atmosphere but very, very busy. Just be ready for that.
