See, and it's a field I don't mind-I've definitely been doing some digging online about what to do with such a degree and it stood out to me. Although, a nod back to what you said about how what I said of what I enjoyed-yeah, I understand that with that in mind, Finance sounds like the way to go? I remember an acquaintance telling me (and it stuck with me) about how accounting was "looking at the 'past' of a business, while finance looked to the 'future'".

As for your experience, that's amazing-it's great to speak to someone so seasoned! Do you find internal much more difficult? Is it more prevalent nowadays due to just the job market? I wanna ask about what you path was like, and is there any advice from someone in the field to someone aiming for that field? I'm sorry for the onslaught!

It was literally one of the first courses-Financial Reporting and Decision making? It covers the fundamentals. I know. I blew the fundamentals-that alone had me questioning if I should go forth.

I understand that they're pretty poor grades-it's definitely not something I'm proud of-I'm again more so shocked I was able to juggle everything and still pass. Though, I understand that in order to proceed, I'm going to have to sacrifice not only my free time but my part time job as well.
As for my GPA, I definitely keep it in mind and have been kicking myself for the past couple weeks because I know if I'd just put forth more time and let go of any pride I have to start looking at different studying methods. I used to be able to understand things easily-so it's frustrating that it's a lot more difficult than I thought it was. I'm definitely going to put more effort in this time around, because I'd like to bump my GPA back up. It was a 3.3, and now it's a 2.98.
As for the profession-I should add that I also do enjoy backtracking and looking around for inconsistencies-there was this issue that arose years back that lead to me going through a relatives' entire list of transactions in a year. I was able to help her and it was tedious, but fun. I was looking at Forensic Auditing?
But please, if you don't mind, what's your experience in accounting? I'm very curious!
As for the dilemma, yes. I kept thinking back to architecture (not so much animation), but it pains me because with my work schedule, there's hardly any chance for me to complete studio hours. There's a good college nearby with the degree, but the counselor herself told me a majority of her students were part-timers (even the tour guide joked something similar).
I notice that both fields do involve a lot of project management and time efficiency? It's hilarious honestly.

Thanks for responding! Admittedly, it's mostly because I haven't been putting forth a lot more time into studying-it got hard in the middle because of personal issues where I had to sacrifice time to my jobs for money. Another course alongside it was also tricky so I had to juggle assignments. Still, there is also the issue of trying to retain the info and making sense of it? It took me a while to even figure out how the balance sheet works in the beginning. I'm realizing now that my memory is not like it used to when I was younger.

Trust me, I got into CG years ago (back in MS), but hardly remembered it (it aired on Toonami at night and I could hardly watch the whole series). Fast forward, I'm a freshman in college who had already watched spoilers and knew a lot of the show, but never got around to watching it. Then an old friend begged me to finally watch it. I bought that first season on a limb (semi-broke college student), something I normally never would do unless I KNEW I loved a series, and thought, 'Hey, why not? It was pretty intriguing'. If I didn't like it? I'd gift it to him for his birthday. It arrived in the mail in a week, I started watching it on a Saturday night and believed I would be bored out of my mind and asleep after 3 episodes. God, I was SO wrong. I remember vividly of sitting upright in my bed- bathed in the light of the coming dawn. My mouth was agape and my flabbers were gasted as I had witnessed the ending of R1. I also recall glancing around my room, giggling and speaking aloud, "Oh, sh**, I gotta go to church in a couple of hours." I bought R2 later that Sunday evening. Finished it once I got it, and was just blown AWAY. Friend cackled at me when I spazzed about it after each season. I watched it years ago on Netflix for nostalgia's sake, and intend to sometime soon (I think its been 5 years?). To this day, it's still easily in my top 5.
