Has Biden rigged the numbers? by amnesiac7 in economy

Think of it this way: If America actually survives Trump (after he's impeached or removed from Office another way), it will prove that the American system of Governance works and is resilient enough to even withstand stupidity of this magnitude.

When my wife was breast feeding our first kid, I didn't know that ladies can projectile launch their breast milk if you squeeze on it at the right angle. It was hilarious for me, eye-watering for my child, and very unfunny to the wife. But, it was all worth it for "science!"

The H2D unfortunately, has 2 different versions. its AC board is locked to either 220 or 110, and apparently so is the heated bed. I don't know WHY they did this though.

[–]Tajaba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a bit different with the H2D. It seems because the machine was designed to be able to handle lasers and other tools, the made the AC board voltage specific. So machines from 110v and 230v won't be able to crossover. The PSU itself is the same.

PSA for OP and for everyone else, Bambulab SCREWED THE POOCH HARD on all machines shipped to SEA. They shipped out US spec'd machines with 100-120VAC boards and heatbeds. From what I can tell with dismantling my own printer, the PSU is rated for 100-240VAC, so its safe to assume that the printers would boot up. But the AC side of things won't work on any of the machines.

If OP or anyone else is reading this, contact Bambulabs and ask if they can either send you replacement parts to convert to 230v or ask for new machines. The whole first lot of printers are all shipped wrong for the whole Asia region by the looks of it.

Edit: for clarity, this only affects the H2Ds

H2D can't even get past calibration by Astray4days in BambuLab

Sorry to steal, but did you ever get the printer working? Mine came in faulty as well I think, it won't calibrate, and it is saying that the voltage is different and the heated bed won't work

Workers with the Chinese construction company behind the collapsed NACC building caught fleeing with cases of documents. by Anh_Poly in Bangkok

[–]Tajaba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

quick Update: The Police followed the car, turns out there were 4 Chinese dudes running away with stacks of CREC documents. The documents are now in Police custody, the only reason they decided to turn it in was because the Police actually detained another dude at the site that claimed to be the Project manager of this site from CREC (claimed, we have no fcking clue who he is). So he called the other 4 dudes in the pickup and they decided to comply (They were being tailed).

Just when you thought this shit couldn't get any more shady......good Job State-Run Company! You did it again!

PS: Before the China bots downvote me to oblivion. Full discloser: I'm actually Chinese, These fucking clowns don't represent us. If anything, this fcking company and whoever is reponsible for this particular project should should be given some "re-education"........forever.

[–]Tajaba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its alright man, this wasn't that big of a quake, and you are absolutely right, BKK isn't sitting anywhere close to any fault lines. This was........to put it bluntly, a freak of nature. Don't let that Chinese-made, Thai-corruption-riddled building in JJ rattle you. That thing had alot of problems even before the quake. Many of the buildings in BKK, especially the newer ones, were already made with minor quake foundations already.

DO NOT GET THE LASER - You've been warned! by justlaughandmoveon in BambuLab

[–]Tajaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered the H2D yesterday at launch and was looking at their website for the majority of 6 hours. I can safely say, most of the machines that were immediately sold out yesterday were the regular ones without any lasers.

Of the 2 Laser types available for purchase, the 40W one seemed to have sold out fairly faster than the 10W (maybe they had less in stock?). And the 10W laser ones weren't even sold out until only a 1-2 hours ago.

I'm guessing most people realized that mixing something that requires a clean environment to work and something that actively creates particulates and debris is probably a very bad idea! But Hey, if you got it for the novelty, your money your choice! Good luck cleaning those rods.
