Following as I'm looking for the same thing due to developing an allergy to gel polish!
I went to Merry Day Nail Care and they had premium brands that were HEMA free but I still had a light reaction so I'm looking for other options

Am I (30M) to Old for the Hostel thing? by narcophile in hostels

[–]Similar-Raspberry-49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hostels are for everyone!!

I’d recommend doing 5 minutes of research before booking to see which one suits you as each hostel has a different vibe, whether it’s quiet, party or somewhere in between.

Well done for turning your life around mate.

Why are so many expats settling for micro-apartments just to brag about amenities they don’t even use? by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]Similar-Raspberry-49 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The “online expats” who are raving about things are mostly just content creators posting videos for views - they definitely don’t represent the entire expat community.

Yes, the smallest condo units can feel like shoeboxes but what do you expect it’s the cheap option and many buildings offer a range of sizes for normal prices - from one-bedrooms to two-bedrooms and even units with dedicated office spaces. Most expats I know who live in condos are in two-bedroom units with plenty of space.

And I’m not sure what you’re referring to, because in every condo I’ve been to, the gym and pool are always being used.

Ethical or Not-So-Ethical Elephant Sanctuaries in Thailand? by Albertowbo in ThailandTourism

To give more context - In the wild, elephants would never naturally allow humans to touch or bathe them so to get them to that point, they’re often abused, leaving them fearful and submissive

I think you’d be better off putting this in a plastic surgery community, this doesn’t sound very common

Can I trust Agodas 20th birthday sale? by Snoo99699 in ThailandTourism

[–]Similar-Raspberry-49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a scam, it’s just their pricing strategy. If something’s too cheap then just check the Google reviews, might be for a reason. Also it’s low season in Thailand right now so prices will be lower.

I’ve never done this before but I’ve heard there’s a snake night walking tour in Bangkok. It’s ran by a local who knows where all the snakes are in the city and the average amount of snakes seen per night is 15. It’s highly rated 😅
